As a result of diverse environmental and hereditary factors, people age at different rates and in different ways. Today, it's well understood that facial aging is not caused by any one change — it's the result of many different small changes that develop over time. A liquid facelift or non-surgical facelift is designed to overcome many of these age-related changes to enhance and refreshen your appearance.
A liquid facelift is a term used to denote that volumizing dermal fillers and products like Botox® will be used instead of surgery. BOTOX® Cosmetic and an assortment of dermal fillers are used to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, replace lost volume, and give a subtle "lift" to sagging areas including the jawline and cheeks. For example, products like as JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC can be administered to hollow or depressed areas such as the cheeks to re-create the fullness of youth. One filler in particular, Sculptra® Aesthetic, can administered to several areas and works by stimulating the growth of collagen for a result that looks and feels incredibly natural. Depending on the area(s) of concern, I will choose the best product available based on the patient's concerns of the longevity of the results, time to final results, downtime, number of treatments needed, and cost.
