The fractional CO2 laser is a versatile laser that can be used on other areas besides the face. Commonly the fractional CO2 laser is used to treat the neck, décolletage (chest), and even the hands and arms.

The décolletage (chest) is commonly exposed to sun damage because of the style of clothing worn (i.e., low neck lines) and often the area is neglected when applying sunscreen. The fractional CO2 laser is very effective for improving the brown spots and overall texture of the skin in this area. Décolletages with more sun damage may need more than on treatment, however.
